I was extremely honoured and proud to be able to design a Bouquet for The Queen this week. Queen Elizabeth visited Accrington as part of her Diamond Jubilee Tour on Wednesday the 16th May. I chose to do a small tear drop bouquet with White Orchids, fragrant Lily of the Valley, Rosemary and Myrtle. These were all featured in the rather larger shower bouquet that she carried for her Coronation ceremony way back in 1952, so I really wanted to design a bouquet to remind her of that glorious day. I am waiting for official photographer's photos yet of her holding said bouquet, but definately let you all see them when I get them. | | |
